Three MRT stations sit within about a kilometre of Gourmet Xchange, on two lines. For a food business, that matters twice over: shift workers can reach the production floor by train, and customers can reach the plaza restaurants and kiosks without a car.
Mattar MRT (DT25) — about 730 m
Mattar station on the Downtown Line is the nearest, about 730 m from the site on the developer’s context plan — around a 10-minute walk. MacPherson interchange, for the Circle Line, is one stop away; in the other direction the Downtown Line runs through Bendemeer, Jalan Besar and Bugis into the city.

Aljunied MRT (EW9) — about 780 m
Aljunied station on the East-West Line lies about 780 m south of the site, across the canal along Aljunied Road. The East-West Line gives a direct run west to the CBD and Jurong and east to Paya Lebar, Bedok and Tampines.
Geylang Bahru MRT (DT24) — around 13 minutes on foot
Geylang Bahru, also on the Downtown Line, is the developer’s third station, around a 13-minute walk to the west. Its surrounding HDB estate is one of the workforce catchments closest to the site.

What the MRT network means for a food business
Production kitchens often start early and finish late, so staff travel times matter. With the Downtown Line at Mattar and Geylang Bahru and the East-West Line at Aljunied, staff living along either line — from Bukit Panjang and Little India to Tampines, Bedok and Jurong — can reach Gourmet Xchange without changing more than once, and the Circle Line at MacPherson adds the northern and western loops. For customers, the plaza restaurants, kiosks and heritage terrace cafés are a short walk from the station exits, which supports weekday lunch trade from the estate and weekend visits along the river.
